"Battle of the Minds" JFK chess tournament
Edinburg, TX. Oct. 20, 2012
He has also reach a  1364 USCF Rating and
is on his way to reach 1400 this month.
Awesome job! Sergio, you are a CHAMPION. 

Coby Portales wins Chess Championship

Coby Portales has been working on this chess moves
and is on his way to becoming a top rank chess player.
He has been to tournaments this summer that have really
helped him develop his skills and confidence in his game.
This past weekend, September 29, 2012 at the
Miller Jordan Middle School Chess Tournament,
Coby's performance was outstanding. He won every
game. He became the "Elementary Chess Champion"
with 5 straight wins! Awesome job Coby!
