JONAS APACIBLE
This Royal Knight wins the 27th place trophy at the K-5 Under 900 section of the Chess SuperNationals this weekend in Nashville, Tennessee. He played 7 chess matches, winning 5.5 points in a section of 521 students from all over the United States. Jonas has only been playing since October 2016, that's about 8 months. He is a 3rd grader at Rancho Verde Elementary. He was his team's leading scorer and the team captain as most Royal Knights are. Jonas has had an incredible chess year. He is a true CHAMPION. We set goals and he has managed to achieve them all. I am very proud of you Jonas. It's an honor to be your chess coach. You did your job at SuperNationals.

Esai Sandoval
My Royal Knights Chess Students have always been
taught to set goals and achieve greatness. Yes, they
win trophies and are among the best chess players in
the area, state and nation.  The mission is to gain
success, leadership, confidence, and character as
part of their chess training as Royal Knights.
Esai Sandoval has decided to take the next step in
the Royal Knights Chess Training which only a few
have been able to take and achieve. Among those
few Royal Knights are Philip Martinez, Oziel Juarez,
Christian Muraira, Daniel Hung, Zach Sunderland,
Edgar Santoyo,  and Fernando Mendez
the "All American Chess Team member".
Esai Sandoval will start his training this coming
week which will include: chess tournaments
with competition greater than 1600, read books on
chess and leadership, and getting ready for his
University career choices. To be a Royal Knight is
not only about becoming a CHESS PLAYER, but
becoming a LEADER and CHAMPION in life.
